April started out as a literal shit show...

We woke up to a massive sewer backup in our boiler room.  You are looking at poop...  Apparently when we had the plumbing rodded 3 years ago when we bought the house they only rodded half the sewer line.  We learned a lot about our plumbing and now have a nice clean line from the catch basin to the street!

With the house unlivable, Kelly had the great idea to stay in a hotel downtown.

We had a nice time staying at the Freehand on Ohio Street.  Our hotel room had bunk beds.  Jack loved the "double decker" beds!  

A trip to Texas!

We flew into Dallas, had tacos with the D'Angelo's and drove to Anne's new house in San Angelo.

It was fun seeing Kelly's family for the first time in a long time.

We think this was Jack's 9th round trip flight.
