Mums

Here is a quick round up of the state of the 910. A few weekends ago, we finally got around to finishing up the yard. Now, if someone would let the weeds know. First up, seasonal flowers for the front porch. We went with mums so they would last most of the fall. We thought we would choose ones that haven't bloomed yet. But, we are starting to wonder if we picked out non-blooming mums because a few weeks later, still no sign of flowers.

 Bailey is a hunting dog. Unfortunately, he lived most of his life in the city so he is a little out of touch with his predator skills.

The beds behind the porch were looking a little bare so we decided to plant some herbs.

A celebratory shrub after laying the last bag of mulch. We lost count, but I think we ended up laying either 85 or 95 bags. That's a lot of trips to the home depot!

 

The late summer temperatures are spoiling us! Now that the yard work is done, we are enjoying relaxing on the porch. 

Oh, Bailey had some issues as well- hence the bald spot. We are proud to report he is doing much better now though!
