Sunset Cliffs

One last hike in San Diego. We decided this time to go to the Sunset Cliffs Natural Park in the Point Loma community of San Diego.

This area is known for their bluffs that are bordered by the Pacific Ocean on the West and Ocean Beach on the North. While we went early in the day, we imagine it is stunning during the sunsets they are named for. Looking south on the Sunset Cliffs Trail
We took a steep staircase down the rocks to get close to the water. You have to be careful here since many of the bluffs are unstable. However, the dangerous conditions are no deterrent for the surfers.  The ocean was filled with them about 100 yards off the coast.
Soaking up the sunshine!
