More apologies for not blogging much this summer but as you will see, we have been quite busy!
Our friend Tom had their block party in the city in June. Jack got to check out a CFD firetruck.
He looks like a natural for a fire truck driver.

We met friends at Arlington Park for their "Kids Day at the Park"
Jack really enjoyed watching the horses run!
For the 4th of July, we smoked a brisket and watched the parade in Glen Ellyn. We had planned to watch the Wheaton parade but Jack needed a nap. Jack enjoyed the firetrucks and marching bands. Here he is seated at the head of the table for our Independance Day picnic. Yes, that's a brisket we smoked!
